Both local newspapers, The Evening Telegram and the Utica Observer-Dispatch have both chosen to completely ignore the June 19, 2007 Village of Ilion election. The committee helping to elect Donna Felker has decided that the only way to get her message out to the people of the Village is through a blog

There was a letter in Friday's newspaper from FORMER mayor JOHN GILMARTIN supporting Mrs. Felker.
Also, one of the first names on Donna Felker's nominating petition was FORMER Clerk-Treas. GALE HATCH.
Ilion voters will remember that BOTH of these STRONG SUPPORTERS of Mrs. Felker were recently EXPOSED in TWO, SEPARATE, INDEPENDENT AUDITS for fiscal mismanagement.
Ilion voters now know that this so-called "voice of the taxpayer" Mrs. Felker, is REALLY ONLY a FRONT FOR MR. GILMARTIN & MRS. HATCH.
She's running to PROTECT THEM, NOT US.
